ANDRIA (BA) - Cathedral

We are pleased to announce the completion of work on the Mascioni organ at the Cathedral of Andria (Bari). This instrument, Mascioni opus n. 482, was originally built in 1935 on the project of the organist of the Cathedral, Monsignor Antonio De Fidio.
The organ underwent a complete restoration and extension and now it is composed by 40 stops over two manualis and pedal.
This overhouling work made it possible to replace worn internal parts, upgrade the transmission equipment, includding the addings of an 8′ Harmonic Flute and a 16′ Trombone.
The inaugural concert, recently given by Maestro Christian Alejandro Almada, reproposed some pieces performed on 6 October 1935 on the occasion of the acceptance by Maestro Cav. Federico Caudana.
