six generations since 1829

Welcome to one of the oldest organ workshops in Europe, but one of the most advanced! Since 1829, Mascioni Organs has built, restored and maintained instruments of all sizes the world over. At our workshops in northern Italy, nearly 200 years of tradition goes hand-in-hand with technology and progress. A philosophy of which we're justly proud, and one that will continue for generations to come.
In our workshops, the art of organ building is handed down from fathers to sons. And for six generations, the Mascioni family have passed on old skills and vigorously pursued the new.
It's let us approach a range of projects as wide as it is long. From maintaining the organs of St. Peter's Basilica to rebuilding the 130-stop instrument at Florence Cathedral. From the new practice organ at the Paris Conservatoire to the mechanical-action instrument of Tokyo Cathedral. Restorations at Parma Cathedral, Brescia Cathedral, San Maurizio di Milano and thousands of others. To date, over 1,200 new organs have left the workshops. And hundreds have left the factory gates for a second time.

We invite you to explore our world for yourselves. And discover our passion for uniting the ancient and what's to come.

Andrea Mascioni studied engineering at the Milan Polytechnic. He began his apprenticeship at Manders Organs in London, where he worked mainly on the construction and restoration of reeds. In 1990, he returned to Italy and continued the family business, perfecting the construction technique of new instruments and devoting himself to studying the restoration of antique organs. He is now mainly involved in the design of the new instruments.
deputy chairman giorgio mascioni deputy chairman
Giorgio Mascioni started his apprenticeship within our family firm, and it quickly became evident that he possessed exceptional talent, particularly in the restoration and maintenance of historic Mascioni organs. Currently, his focus is strongly directed towards the restoration and reconstruction of antique instruments.
PROJECT DESIGNER DANIELE INVERNIZZI PROJECT DESIGNER
Daniele Invernizzi brings a unique set of skills and passions to our workshop. After studying architecture at the Milan Polytechnic, Daniele joined us as an organ builder where he primarily focuses on the aesthetic design of new organs and consoles. Beyond his work here, Daniele is a dedicated music enthusiast and serves as the artistic director of the Rassegna Organistica Valsassinese. He also holds the distinguished rank of Karate Master and trains the National Kata Shito Ryu team.
foreign representative andrew jolliffe foreign representative
Andrew Jolliffe is probably the only person in the world with a professional background in both pipe organ building and the world of communications and marketing. After several years of working with organ builders Willis, Mander, Kenneth Tickell and Mascioni, he joined the Ogilvy & Mather advertising agency based in London and Paris, which allowed him to work on famous brands and win numerous awards in both Cannes and New York. Andrew is the right person in the right place: he has passions ranging from wine, singing, running MusiCuvia, a local music festival, together with both professional and volunteer work. But the organ and its music come first.
