Work continues on the conservative restoration of all parts of the organ built by Sicilian organ builders Michele and Agostino Polizzi in 1918 for the beautiful Basilica of Maria Santissima Annunziata in Comiso.
The main windchests were completely disassembled to carry out a thorough woodworm disinfestation followed by the complete replacement of all soft lambskin seals.
The organ will be reinstalled and finalised during spring 2026.
