A NEW CONSOLE
The Opera del Duomo has decided to replace the console of the great Mascioni organ with a new one equipped with all the latest features to assist organists.
Keyboards and pedalboard equipped with proportional sensors, register controls via knobs, a touchscreen with dedicated, secure access for each organist, and modern features for Sostenuto, Pizzicato and Pedal Division effects, as well as couplings that can be programmed to the organist’s preference.
A fine piece of finely inlaid walnut furniture with an internal record compartment in oak, featuring walnut handles and porcelain discs.
It is now ready to accompany the liturgical services at the Cathedral and the numerous concerts scheduled to take place there.
